What do you do when you have a folder that contains sensitive information, information you would want no one to be able to access? The functionality this application provides is fairly simple to explain: it will put a password on the folder of your choosing. Anyone who wants to access that folder will be asked to provide the right password. Since you are the only one who knows the password, only you will be able to access that folder.

The program has a straightforward installation process that completes in no time. It supports locking folders in most versions of Microsoft Windows, from XP to Windows 7.

You don’t have to worry that Password Protect is a difficult application to use. Password Protect comes with a wizard that guides you through all the steps you need to take. This way, even the most inexperienced computer user should find it easy to use Password Protect.

The user just needs to select the desired folder and Password Protect will quickly lock it, making it inaccessible for users without a password. Locked folders can be unlocked following the same steps. Everything is extremely simple, there are no settings and options.
